Christian Shaeffer - Owner & CPA

Christian Shaeffer is the owner of Mission Accounting, PC. He is a Certified Public Accountant specializing in exempt non profit organizations and small business. He is also able to offer QuickBooks assistance as a former QuickBooks Pro-Advisor.

Christian’s past experience includes two years as the Senior Staff Accountant for a large nonprofit in Kalispell. He was responsible for compliance reporting and cost allocations for about 50 state and federal grants according to OMB Circulars A-110 and A-122.

Prior to this, Christian served the business and IT needs of physician offices for over ten years, and 3 years in small business corporate accounting, including budgeting and sales forecasting. He understands many of the issues facing small business owners including payroll taxes, department of labor laws, and personnel issues.

Christian believes in giving back and is involved in the community. He has served many organizations as either a board member, officer, or professional consultant. He is the past President of the Flathead Chapter of Montana Society of CPA’s. He is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) serving neglected and abused children in the foster care system.


Courtney Shaeffer - Medical Billing

Courtney’s extensive knowledge and experience in medical billing began with CCA, a billing service owned by the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She has held roles in payment posting, patient account representative, and billing account manager. Courtney has been with Mission Accounting in her current role since August of 2012. Courtney oversees all aspects of our medical billing services and is a wonderful problem solver and wealth of information. Courtney enjoys her family, travel, and spending quiet times on her own.
